Do you need to divide your list into files generated by specific criteria? That’s where list segmentation comes in; you give us the criteria, and we generate the appropriate files.
Unlike Nth select, through which lists are randomly divided, list segmentation divides lists by specific criteria that are provided as cell codes. Record count is not an issue.
There is any number of reasons why list segmentation comes into play. You may want to send all Florida recipients a specific offer. In this case, you would code all Florida addresses uniquely (perhaps using F1 in the cell code field), so we can separate them out using split select. The result would be a new output file that contains only Florida recipients.
We use software to group each cell code into a unique output file. You provide us with the cell codes, based on your specific needs and list segmentation does the rest.
